Cost effective additive extending life and performance of thermoplastic polyurethane products

TenasiTech has developed a polymer nano-composite technology which radically improves the performance of polyurethanes. Used for both castable and thermoplastic polyurethanes, the new composite materials allow outstanding performance for industrial parts, adhesives, textiles and medical implants. 

Richard Marshall, CEO of TenasiTech said the Proof of Concept grant was very important in allowing TenasiTech the resources to develop an industrially relevant manufacturing process, and to match the technical performance with market needs. TenasiTech’s current product partners would not have been secured without the extra funding.  “The application process and required documentation were not too onerous, considering the additional funding it allowed. Indeed the Case Manager made the process smooth and easy to understand, and was a valued asset for the team as we executed the project plan.”
