Diabetic nephropathy treatment halting kidney failure

Diabetic nephropathy is the leading cause of kidney failure in Western societies. Through the use of Dimerix’s patented ‘G-Protein Coupled Receptor’ assay technology, a novel therapy is being developed to halt the progression of the disease. 

With support from Commercialisation Australia, Dimerix aims to finalise a proof of concept which will support plans to licence the product’s intellectual property to a global pharmaceutical company for advanced clinical development.
