The first "very small animal" veterinary re-breathing anaesthesia system for 3-12 kg patients

Using a Proof of Concept grant from Commercialisation Australia, Advanced Anaesthesia Specialists will build production prototypes and then clinically validate:

• a veterinary electronic anaesthetic agent vaporiser,
• a low-volume, low-back-pressure breathing system with CO2  gas scavenging, and
• a controlling anaesthesia monitoring and alarm system for this veterinary anaesthetic machine application.

Advanced Anaesthesia Specialists will go to market both nationally and internationally with the first-ever monitored re-breathing anaesthesia system for very small animals (3-12kg).
