Novel passive acoustic feeding technology for shrimp farms

AQ1 Systems has developed a shrimp feeding control system which matches shrimp appetite precisely with feed delivery. This system optimises growth and food utilisation, minimises the environmental impacts of shrimp farming and improves labour efficiency. Success will result in a market leading position in feeding control technology for the $25 billion global shrimp industry.

Funding from Commercialisation Australia will help AQ1 conduct commercial proof of concept trials for the system.
