Case Managers take a hands-on approach, offering a range of tailored assistance to Commercialisation Australia Participants to help them bring their great ideas to market and accelerate the business building process.
With these new appointments – one in Victoria, two in Queensland, one in New South Wales, and two in South Australia – the Case Manager network has grown from 22 to 28.
However, outgoing South Australian Case Manager, Cettera Pty Ltd (represented by Tom Geimer and Andrew Grant), will complete its contract on June 30 to take up new entrepreneurial opportunities. Queensland Case Manager, Steve Telburn, will be leaving the Commercialisation Australia network to focus on CEO duties at software venture Scalify. Steve is the co-founder of Scalify which recently attracted a $2M investment from leading venture capital firm Starfish Ventures.
In just over two years, the existing Case Manager network has already played a key role in advising and guiding 248 Australian innovators who have received a total of $97.1 million in funding support from CA.
Case Managers guide Participants through the commercialisation process and facilitate their access to experienced Volunteer Business Mentors. As a number of early grant recipients begin to gain market traction, feedback from Participants about the Case Manager network is overwhelmingly positive.
