Richard has over 20 years experience in management consulting, new venture development, early-stage venture capital, and research and development engineering. He is heavily involved in helping to organise and develop the angel investor community in Australia, and is a Committee Member of Sydney Angels and a member of the investment committee for the Sydney Angels Sidecar Fund. He also owns licensed advisory firm Argo Partners.

He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Western Australia and a Masters of Business Administration from London Business School. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
